The Heritage Institute of Ministry was started in 2001, as a tool to
train men and women who are currently in a professional career, but
seeking to learn more about the Word of God. Our ultimate goal is to
see men complete the four year degree and then go out to start churches
in our country.
Courses range from in-depth studies of the books of
the Bible, Bible doctrines, and Biblical studies to Counseling methods,
Preaching preparation, and Youth work. Our purpose is to give an
in-depth look at all that goes in to being a part of the ministry.
Two semesters, with five courses each are offered every
year. The courses are taught by Pastor Edwards, and the staff of
Heritage Baptist Church. We use both published texts and from knowledge
gained by experience in the Ministry.
